The 1950's

In the early 1950’s Bob did many Midwest assignments for the Black Star photo Agency. He also documented the construction of the Chicago Housing Authority, and work on many assignments for Ebony Magazine.

In the 1970’s, Bob turned to nature photography around the family home in Eagle River, Wisconsin. He roamed the woods during all four seasons, photographing the beauty around him.

Bob Natkin was one of those rare individuals who felt at ease wherever he happened to be. As a photographer, this gave him the ability to create images from the comfortable perspective of an insider.

To inquire about purchasing prints of the images seen on this site, please contact Paul Natkin (Bob’s son) through this form. There are many vintage prints available, along with silver and digital prints.
